Steve - T-Ball Film Prod. ('Trifles')
Well Mark, your work is FANTASTIC!!!!!! I cannot tell you how pleased I am. You really exceeded my expectations. I was particularly impressed by the way you brought Mr. Hale's long monologue alive. I have been struggling with it from an editing standpoint and your music finally made it work! Thank-you for your fast turnaround and beautiful product. Steve
Krista Grotte, Rick Danford - Enigma Films ('Alarum')
I especially liked the music that played during the salutes. That really made the scene seem more heart wrenching. I agree - this (the music) sounds so wonderful, absolutely perfect-RIGHT ON! Really Excited!!
Chris Downes -Drippingdead Films ('Lunacy')
We have some great news.. Mark D'Errico will be scoring 'The Shunned' and Craig Gilmore is doing the storyboard / artwork !! this is a great accompishment and I would like to personally thank both of these guys for helping out on this video mission.
Michael Nicholas - BrainAche Productions ('Call Me')
I can't tell you how much I appreciate you taking on this project with such short notice and such dedication. You are a consummate professional and an understanding musician. It was a pleasure to work with you and I hope that my finished movie will make you feel proud to be a contributor, just as I am proud of your contribution.
Joe Patnaud - Timberwolf Productions (various productions)
The Samhain theme is great, and I love what you did with that scene at the picnic table... very slick! The scare cue is perfect too. Great stuff again, Mark! BTW --- I watched Revelations on my big-screen tv with your score, and it is freakin' brilliant (your score, i mean)... It definitely pulls everything together cohesively.
Kris McKenna - Mystical Media/Negative Images Productions ('Fiend')
I have completely rendered the final cut to 'Fiend', all I can say is WOW, that music score just adds to it heavily. I like the score better than the movie. I would at least hope this thing gets an award for *Best Music* at some festival, very, very, very good job!
Rick Danford - Enigma Films ('The Reaper')
…We can't wait to get you involved in the next project. We're glad to have you a part of the Enigma project and we hope to get your work, as well as ours, as much exposure as possible.
Guy McConnell - Aisle5 Productions ('Old Man')
Man, you really know how to build up suspense with your music! I've seen these scenes a million times, but with the music, they are even freaking me out!! Great job! I have to say, I LOVE everything you've composed so far and it really brings the film to a whole new level! Can't wait to hear the rest!
Dana Haywood - Dana3D2K Productions (Heresy)
I would like to inform you that the entire cast has been filled, and finally can get things going. :) I would like to thank JJE and Shannan who already sent their stuff, and also a big thanks goes to Mark D'Errico who offered to produce music for the film. He has a website that displays some of films he scored at http://www.markderrico.com . I will tell you from my personal opinion, they rock:).
Chris Watson - Wild Range Films ('Evil Crazy Robot Woman')
Mark D'Errico did a fantastic score for it and did it really quickly considering what I think is great quality.
Ari Bavel - Lantern Jack Films ('Bride of the Zombie')
We got the final re-edit finished last night and it WONDERFUL! The music is superb and the new cut is so much more dramatic.
Barry Munden - Spanish Castle Productions ('Fritzkrieg')

Mark D'Errico has assembled 8 instrumental keyboard based space age tunes on his latest record, 'Out of Bounds'. Mark combines guitar samples with keyboard/drum programming expertise to lay foundations and beds of soothing and thoughtful music.
The CD starts with 'Hood', a Jan Hammer influenced hard edged piece - with lead key sounds reminiscent of Vice. Track 3 is one of the highlights of the CD - the cut, 'Oceans', is a slow modulating string/key bed that supports melody instruments like an arpeggiating piano to produce a trance like quality, similar to Floyd. The long mp3 here, 'Love in the Mountains', begins with a full orchestra of keys - emulating the fullness of nature in the mountains. Track 7, 'Silver River', is an easy moving relaxer with sampled acoustic guitar. The final track, 'Out of Bounds', also the title track, is a ten minute exercise in panned keys lines, swelling horn beds, and quivering revolving leads - and each chapter moves effortlessly with musical transitions.
Overall the CD is a relaxing science fiction instrumental new age mood - and we look forward to more.

D'Errico writes soundtracks for movies yet to be made. His richly textured electronic atmospheres follow the work of Ambient pioneers Vangelis, Brian Eno and Hector Zazou. Chad D.
Rick Whitehurst - Gods of Music
PHEADRA by Mark Derrico is without a doubt one of the most beautiful electronic pieces I have heard yet since I started reviewing songs here at Gods of Music.
The effected drum beat is entrancing but not to the point of overkill. The Keys are absolutely wonderful and moving. The song at 4:46 moves along like a short story, with an understated beginning, a strong center, building to a beautiful crescendo of 'voices' that just leaves me breathless.
Artistic and almost holy sounding (I heard Angels!), PHEADRA may get my vote for electronic song of the year. Absolutely beautiful and recorded quite nicely.
Constructed like a brick shithouse, I could find no flaws with structure or arrangement. I urge anyone who likes ambient electronic music to give this song a listen. Unfortunately the long term appeal of songs in this particular genre is not there, but the world would be a nicer place if it was.
Very well done Mark....Thanks.

I have also played all of your CD, and I have to say I came prepared to be solidly bored off my ass, but you surprised me. Your a fantastic composer, I really like the tune Discovery and I bet you enjoyed writing it as well. In fact, all of your tune are very well thought out, containing passion and emotions. So kudos for you!

I added 'Oceans' to my station, Intriguing Music. It is an excellent piece. I was quite impressed.

Your music is elegantly enchanting. I would be honored to grace my station with your talent. I've just added Silver River to the station. Welcome aboard!

Hi Mark, I've checked out your site and quite simply your music is wonderful, and as for 'dead choirs crypt' it creates so many creepy and fantastic images that I will have to use it for my station! I'll have an experiment to see how I can incorporate the tune into my playlist (It's a slight step from power and gothic metal!), but have a great day and keep up the amazing work! :-)

Hey Mark, Checked out 'On the Edge' I really dig the lead in drum sound. And the guitar has a nice crunch to it. I was looking at your info page and listed under instruments there was only keyboards. You did that all on keyboards? KICK ASS!

Mark is a new discovery for me; and what a beautiful one he is! This is the kind of music that catches your breath in your throat. Lavish with changing emotions... Features grand piano, soaring strings, woodwind and brass. A superb symphonic orchestral showpiece. (Winter of Hearts)
